This weeks #MondayMemberSpotlight we are actually

This weeks #MondayMemberSpotlight we are actually going to introduce our new Lakeland Area Governor: Kyle Jones!
Kyle has always had a passion for cars and motorcycles. He planned to work for BMW Motorrad after exiting the military and even obtained his technical certifications only to discover that the income with his future career path wouldn’t align with his goals. The positive though, is that this led him to Florida in 2014.
He then proceeded with a career in sales and eventually bought his first BMW which was a 330i. This led him down the rabbit hole that is the BMW community, moving into a G20 M340i later on. He now owns a G80 M3 Interlagos Blue, Jahre Edition (which the M3 has been a dream for sometime). In addition his wife, Kylee, has also grown accustomed to the BMW lifestyle and now drives a G05 X5.
He actually stumbled upon the CCA online after searching through different events/drives in the area. This led him to see the value that the CCA offers compared to other Facebook driving groups and so he joined right away. He’s a proud member of the Florida SunCoast Chapter, as well as Sunshine Bimmers.
Kyle loves the professionalism, structure, and caliber of events that the CCA offers. He’s had the opportunity to meet some awesome people through driving events, cars and coffees, and more. He also loves track day events and is excited to take the G80 for future events with the Florida SunCoast Chapter!

This weeks #MondayMemberSpotlight is Jason Lambert

This weeks #MondayMemberSpotlight is Jason Lambert! Jason was introduced to the club by a friend that took him to a few BMW CCA events in Maryland, specifically Oktoberfest at Passport BMW and he loved how structured the event was! It was at that point he knew he had to join once he got his car.
Growing up, the E36 is specifically one BMW he remembers seeing first and at the time, it was something to admire and work towards. Growing up, coming from a family that something like that was just out of the realm of possibility, Jason remembers thinking to himself, “Wow, they have it all figured out”. Fast forward to now and he has a 700whp G80 M3! 9 year old him would be so amazed. Although he still doesn’t “have it all figured out”, that moment of seeing the E36 for the first time and wanting to be a part of that BMW owner experience really pushed him to the spot that he is today. The true power of cars is so much more than people realize sometimes.
When Jason first took delivery of his then new G80 M3 at the performance center in SC, he really babied the car on the way back home to FL. He was really careful to not put the pedal to the floor until the break in service was completed. When the break in service was done, he was entering an on-ramp in which he put his foot to the floor! His Apple Watch immediately started alerting him of a sudden high heart rate. It was in that moment that he knew that he bought the right car.
His favorite part of the club is the structure and overall responsibility of like-minded BMW owners. Even on cruises, although there are spirited drives, nobody ever crosses the line of reckless in anyway which is very important to him. His favorite event to attend is the monthly Bimmers, Bends & Brews that he attends regularly. While he hasn’t been to the track with his M3 yet, he plans to hopefully go later this year.

We missed the in-car drivers @streetsurvivalschool in Miami hosted by @BMWCCAEverglades this weekend but will see them again next month. Just a reminder, this event happens on the 3rd Saturday of every month!
