Question

On my E92 there was a switch I had installed that turned on the emergency stops lights that come on when you break real hard. In Europe they are rear fog lights. The replacement switch added the bottom part to the existing fog light switch, which in US cars is blank. I now have an F32. Is there a similar switch for it?

Answer

Hello Mr. Klee, is this what you are talking about ?

Please let me know if it is, thank you.

  1. Gil,
Thanks, it is, with one caveat.
When I went to the site and put in all the specifics about my car, it said for cars without fog lights (true, because I have M Sport), with rain sensor (true) and Xenon headlights, which is not the case because I have LEDs. Interesting that difference switch for LEDs.
But at least I have a source I can call to check it out.
Anyway, this is really helpful to have in some of these incredible downpours we have here. I’m new to Florida. If I had known I would have gotten sooner.
I’ll let you know as I find out more.
