We love driving our BMWs. Cars & Coffee and other parking lot meet-ups are fun, and so is meeting up and driving an hour or so to a favorite lunch spot.  Sometimes that’s not enough.  Here is an opportunity to drive Coast 2 Coast on the Florida peninsula, from Fort Island Beach Park near Crystal River to Martin’s Restaurant in Flagler Beach, an all-day drive on two-lane roads that covers about 213 miles. Or you can just meet us for for an early dinner, our ETA to Martin’s is around 4:00 pm.

Start: 8:00 am -9:00 am at Fort Island Beach Park, on the Gulf, west end of Fort Island Trail, SR-44. Turn-by-turn instructions will be provided, and you and your passenger will need to sign a release.  The park is on the west end of Fort Island trail on the south side of Crystal River.

Finish: Martin’s Restaurant, 2000 S. Oceanshore Blvd (A1A) in Flagler Beach (what’s for an early dinner, click here to view the menu)

If you are interested in joining us, please complete the RSVP below. There are plenty of hotels in Crystal River and close to Flagler Beach. With a good turn-out we can probably get a group rate.
