Drive a M4 GT4 at Indy 30 July 2021

Smoky Mountain BMW CCA is working with Mike Renner at the BMW Performance Center for a class that will feature driving an actual BMW racecar on the Indy road course which includes a long straightaway on the actual Indy 500 racetrack. The program is a full day and consist of dinner the night before at the oldest steak house in Indiana, St.Elmo’s. It has been the go to place for INDY drivers throughout the years and is filled with Indy pictures and memorabilia. Joining us for dinner and the driving program will be Bill Auberlen. The driving day includes lead follow laps on the Indianapolis Speedway road course in the M4,and a session in the afternoon in the M4 GT4 race car. The car is user friendly and will be challenging to the most experienced driver and easy to drive for the novice with features as paddle or auto shift ABS brakes and three levels of stability control. All the cars are equipped with V box data acquisition and video for you to take home to supplement your memory. The cars are prepared just as for racing in the various series around the world including air conditioning that activates in to the seat back when at idle or during braking. All driver safety gear is included, suits, helmets, hans device,etc. There is a maximum liability of $2500 in the case of damage to the cars.
