BMW E30 Scan Tool Recommendation

Hello Rene, I personally use a Baum CS2000, I purchased it new but it has been out of production for a while. On the data logging, I have found that the scan tools from that era work better than the current tools, the current tools usually have connection issues. Also, I would not trust the data logs from a scan tool, they can be wildly inaccurate, I suggest you get an actual data logger. One of the issues with the E30 is sometimes the car will have a check engine ligh code but the ABS light will be on the dash, so when checking codes, check in all available computers.
