I am still so unhappy with BMW corporation for what they charge to update the most expensive Navigation system. I believe it is still like $235 for the update plus at least an hour labor charge, shop charges and tax! It would be over $400 while my MapQuest app on my iPhone updates for free. It is just that it is so much nicer to use the built-in Nav system on my 2011 328i. I certainly am capable of connecting a 256GB thumb drive in my car but am not able to find the download and instructions.

Hello Mr. Soucy, you can do the update yourself. If you bought the update memory stick from BMW it should come with a piece of paper that has the registration code in it. After you made sure that you have the code just follow this video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VdqFhmiWK_s
