I have a 1973 3.0CSL. MUST I USE NON ETHANOL GAS?
Hello, the answer is yes, any engine that uses a carburetor CANNOT use ethanol blended fuels. There are some gas stations that carry non ethanol fuel, look for where boats get fuel and they will have it as boats cannot run on ethanol blends as well. Thank you for your question.

Gil. My 3.0CSL is fuel injected, not carbureted. Does this change your advise?
Still wouldn’t run it in anything older than 2000-2001 as fuel systems were just transitioning to the ethanol blended fuels that were better suited to the corrosive nature of ethanol. It also does not store well and separates from gas as boat owners found out quickly from plugged filters to needing to replace their gas tanks.
